2 weeks until the big day!

The Bus...

We have arranged a Tranzit Coachlines bus for transport to and from our wedding at Tarureka Estate, Featherston on Jan 5th.

Pick-up and drop-off points are the following;

Carterton

1.30pm

Bus stop (outside Carrington Park) main road (High St. South)

Tauherenikau (A pub and not much else between Greytown and Featherston)

The bus arrives at the venue shortly after 2:30pm

The bus will return guests at the end of the night from midnight. Pick up will be from The Loft (Tarureka Estate) reception venue. Drop off points will be - Martinborough - Tauherenikau (Tin Hut) - Greytown - Carterton.

If you know you'll be needing to take the bus please let us know as it will be good to give the driver a rough idea of numbers, but rest assured there will be plenty of seats available.

Venue: Tarureka Estate, The Loft, 38 Donald Street,  Featherston, Wairarapa

From Wellington - Tarureka Estate can be found on the corner of Revans St. and Donald St.    Revans St. is the road heading to Martinborough from Featherston. Turn right into Donald St just before the 100 km sign.

From North along State Highway 2 - Turn left off Featherston's main road onto Donald St. (State Highway 2 is named Fitzgerald St. within Featherston).

Convenient accommodation can be found in Featherston, Greytown (10min drive from wedding site) and Martinborough (15 min drive from wedding site). There are a wide variety of motel/hotels, B&Bs and Cottages to book in the area. During the holiday season accommodation will go fast so its best to book now.

Dress to impress - Circa 1920s - 1950s. This is a vintage inspired affair, please come in style and in the theme of your favourite decade. Inspiration can be found on our wedding blog, do take a look.

Sunday Casual Lunch & Drinks - You are invited to a casual lunch with drinks the following day, Sunday the 6th, from 11am to 2pm at Tarureka Estate homestead hosted by the Shanahan's.
